The Abhiyan 2023 outlines specific National Flag display criteria. While its length can vary, the aspect ratio 3:2 must be maintained. Placing the Tricolor in a position of honor is vital, with clear distinction. The flag must be in good condition, not torn or stitched. In accordance with the requirements, one must not invert the flag; position saffron at the top and green at the bottom.
The Indian flag must always fly higher than other flags, with no objects, even flowers, above it. Prohibiting the use of the flag for decorative purposes or letting it touch the ground. It is not permitted to display religious flags alongside the Indian flag. Craft the flag from materials like cotton, silk, khadi, or polyester.
