Although Kraven the Hunter is a character within Sony Pictures’ Spider-Man Universe, it is worth noting that Aaron Taylor-Johnson has had a prior association with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Fans will remember his portrayal of Pietro Maximoff, endowed with superhuman speed, in Joss Whedon’s 2015 film Avengers: Age of Ultron. Additionally, Russell Crowe joins the cast as Kraven’s father. Russell Crowe’s previous appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe adds to his notable repertoire. He portrayed Zeus, the formidable God of Thunder, in Taika Waititi’s Thor: Love and Thunder, released the previous year.
